ADVERTISING COMPAIGN: The quality of the tobacco used in this brand was described through advertising campaign. This brand claimed to be having the best tobacco flavor. The campaign runs by the engagement of Holly wood actors. COLOR CHANGE: The pack of the lucky strike brand was changed from green to white color in1942.the explanation of this change was given through a slogan in advertising campaign "Lucky Strike green has gone to war" the company claimed that the reason for color change is the copper and chromium which is used to produce green ink and it is the necessity of world war 2.But that was not the fact the reason behind it was something else. That was done to trap the attraction of female because a big strength of women is getting use too of smoking. So it was done for its modification. Which seems to be more attractive for women than green so that was changed? By taking this step the product became modernized in the market of cigarette while at the same time the patriotic effect was also created. Brown and Williamson purchase all the Us and export rights in 1960s. By adding menthol filtered cigarettes were launched in the market. Version was said to be "Lucky Strike Green".
